This is probably the most useful piece of advice I can give you when it comes to creating the life you really want to live.
It doesn’t matter if you are looking for better health, more wealth or simply to be happy.. you can’t have these things without taking action.
It’s like wanting to win the lottery without buying a ticket. Or wanting to meet a new partner, without ever leaving the house, logging onto a dating site or taking any steps towards making it a reality.
There is a lot of information out there about the Law of Attraction (LOA) and it is easy to get sucked into the belief, that ‘thought’ alone is enough to give you want you want. Unfortunately, it is not enough and that is why so many people get frustrated and think that it’s all a load of nonsense.
If you start following these 5 basic steps, you will soon begin to see changes in your life:
1) Notice how you feel about your current situation. Do you feel happy and content in all areas of life, or does something need to change? What can you no longer tolerate in your life? This is all about noticing that there is a gap.
2) Write down what you really want from life. We are very good at knowing what we don’t want, but are you clear on what you do want. Often it will be the opposite of the things that drive you crazy or that you moan/complain about. Spend some time brainstorming or journalling and don’t feel you need to censor your dreams. The only limits are the ones you impose on yourself. Some people even use vision boards, do what works for you.
3) Take action towards making these things a reality. Even baby steps will help, 3 small steps a day for 1 year is 1095 actions – imagine how life could change within those 1095 actions. If you don’t take action, you are blocking and self sabotaging the very things you say you want.
4) Be open and willing to receive all these positive and good changes. Know that you deserve it. If you feel like you are doing all the things above and yet still nothing is happening, then it may be time to do some deeper work on yourself. Ask yourself questions such as:
• Do I ‘know’ I deserve this?
• What will change in my life if I finally get everything I ever wanted and do I have any fear around this?
• Who will no longer be in my life and am I okay with that?
• Am I worried what other people will think of me if I finally have the health, wealth or happiness that I crave?
• What kind of person would I have to become? Am I prepared to be that person or am I scared if I can really do it?
5) Express gratitude… for everything you already have in your life and everything that is still to come. This will help you to manifest more into your life and to do it quickly too! Don’t forget to include future gratitude journalling, as if you already have everything you need and want.
